Who We Are

Swiftascale Technologies Limited is a digital systems company registered in Nigeria. We design, build, and scale software infrastructure for SME founders and growth-stage organisations across Africa and beyond.

For the purposes of data protection law — including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable — Swiftascale Technologies Limited is the data controller for information collected through this website.

What We Collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what we observe when you use the site.

Information you give us:

• Your name, email address, and message when you submit a contact or consultation form.
• Your service interest — the category you select when enquiring.
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Information we observe automatically:

• IP address and user agent string, logged when you submit a form. Used only for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
• Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — pages visited, session duration, referral source, device type. IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google.
• Cookie consent state — whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. Stored locally in your browser.

We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or any sensitive personal data.

Why We Collect It

• Consultation enquiries: When you fill in a contact form, we use your name, email, and message to respond to your enquiry and log it in our CRM. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a direct request).
• Newsletter: We use your email address to send you articles and updates — but only if you explicitly opted in. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw at any time.
• Site performance: Analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful, where visitors drop off, and how to improve the experience. Legal basis: consent (via cookie banner).
• Legal obligations: We may retain certain records to comply with applicable Nigerian and international law.

How We Store It

There is no database on this website. When you submit a form, your data is sent directly to two external services:

• HubSpot CRM — the primary store for all contact records and conversation history. Retention is managed in HubSpot; we delete contacts on request.
• Google Sheets — a redundant log used for internal reporting. Rows are periodically reviewed and archived. This sheet is access-controlled and not publicly accessible.

Analytics data lives in Google Analytics 4 under our property, subject to Google's standard data retention settings (14 months by default, configurable to less).

We do not store your data on our own servers beyond the transient processing required to route it to the above services.

Third Parties

We share data with the following services, solely to operate this website:

• HubSpot — CRM and email infrastructure. Data processed under HubSpot's Data Processing Addendum. HubSpot is GDPR-certified.
• Google Analytics 4 — web analytics. IP addresses are anonymised. Data is not used for advertising. You can opt out via the cookie banner on this site.
• Cloudflare — DNS and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP, user agent) as part of its infrastructure service.
• Google Sheets — redundant submission log. Data is not processed by Google for advertising.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any third party beyond the services listed above.

Your Rights

Under the NDPR (Nigeria) and GDPR (EU), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Ask us to delete your data. We will action this in HubSpot and the Google Sheets log within 30 days.
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have a compelling legal reason to continue.
• Withdraw consent: For newsletter or analytics consent, you can withdraw at any time — via unsubscribe link or the cookie settings on this site.

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

• Functional (essential): Required for the site to work — they remember your cookie consent choice. These do not require your consent under NDPR or GDPR.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. These are only loaded after you accept via the cookie banner.

The first time you visit this site, a cookie banner will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can accept or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, no GA4 scripts are loaded and no analytics data is collected from your session.

You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies, which will reset the banner on your next visit.
